I wrote Lily's Lollipop Moments for the kids cuz so many parents wanted to give them my Cuckoo book! These are for the kids, and the kid in all of us :) What are we waiting for??? Let's Lollipop right in.... It may be silly ~ It may be sweet ~ Lollipop thoughts are moments that melt like mints. If life is like soda pop, giggles are the fizz. But instead of tickling your tongue, they tickle your heart. Gulp. Giggle. Tickle. Tickle. See what I mean? Let yourself dream… It’s the only way to know where your heart wants you to go. Forget about what other people think. If you paint a purple cow leaping over a rainbow moon, Shout, “Oh Happy Day!” You found the magic in the artistic way. With a true friend, laughter happens when you’re not even trying. Have you ever noticed… The most adorable, lovable things are so simply and so sweetly not so perfect? Just saying... Sometimes other people can’t hear the jazz that’s playing in your head. It’s okay. Tap your feet to your own beat. Mistakes are just another way to learn something new. I learn something new every day. I love my cat because he loves me back in secret Furry Purry Code. Your imagination is a spectacular sight to see. Imagine, you can close your eyes, and pretend to be any place you want to be. When you close your eyes, what do you see? New scientific evidence proves that when you make something with your own two hands, you instantly feel happy, peppy and proud. I sort of made up the “scientific evidence” part, but the rest of it is all true. Ask anybody who makes stuff. Lily's Lollipop Moment #12 Listen to the feeling that seems to come out of the blue. No matter where you go, this special gift is always with you, and it always seems to know just what to do. Bullies are full of hot air. So much hot air, I bet it could fill a balloon and travel all the way to the other side of the rainbow. Maybe then, they would find what they are looking for and then, they wouldn't be bullies any more. In the garden of friends, pick the blooms and leave the weeds. Life is better when friends are a bouquet. If life was meant to be too serious, it would be in black & white. Once, I tried to be just like everyone else but I got lost somewhere in the sea of all the same faces. And my family didn’t know who to call home for supper. I know there is a popularity contest, but how about we change the rules. How about, the real winners think less about how things appear to be and more about possibilities. How about, the real winners do not even know there is a contest at all. Love happens when all the beauty you ever knew suddenly twinkles brighter than all the stars at night. That’s why they say you see sparks when you fall in love at first sight.
In this place you are always safe. In this place we wake, we learn, we love, we argue, we learn some more, we love some more, we sleep. Bless forever our home, our family, for in this place, we are always safe. Beyond the dark Beyond the door on the very edge of Peppermint Mountain is a place they call Magic Land. In Magic Land, Dreams dance a jig, Joy sings a tune, and Peace holds hands with every heart. Getting here is easy to achieve ~ All you have to do is Believe. The Fairy Tale started the day you were born. Sweet Life. Maybe if you put the cart before the horse, you will find yourself doing it before your mind thinks of all the reasons why it can’t be done. Sometimes seeds like to keep secrets and surprise you when they bloom. I love surprises. Thank you for the world you made for me, for through your eyes nothing was beyond possibility, and throughout my journeys, this treasure glimmers for me time and time again. I love you, Dad I have been trying to find the words all of my life. Wrap me up in a blanket of peace and surety and kiss my forehead with twinkles of a special quality. No matter how time passes, this feeling comes from you to me and fills me with feeling I am always home. I love you, Mom So, you really think you can skip through life with a smile on your face and a song in your heart? Join the club!

Lily's Life Lesson #59 We have the most magical club house in town because it appears out of nowhere and sets up around us every time we get together and travel down Memory Lane. I love you, my brother I tried to be perfect once, but then I found out I like my birdhouse crooked better. Some things are just beyond our control and all I can say is, oh my goodness, how lucky we are ~ how lucky we are, to have the shining stars in our lives for whatever precious time that may be and may that shining star light you up inside forever and always. The path before you smiles in all ways knowing you are destined for it, for all along the way every turn has felt just the way you always remembered it. Lily's Life Lesson #64 I adore every facet of you just the way you are ~ I think my heart has fluttered away with the sweetest of breezes because when I think of it, everything drifts with the softness of petals on to wherever you are.
